Description
Audion magazine (issue 73, March 2022) prog, experimental, electronic, music. A bigger issue again, at 48pages, and with four guest contributors this time. Now, that's what I like. I'd really love more people to contribute. Some others keep promising stuff, but I think everyone else operates at a different speed than myself! Remember, if you want to contribute, anything pertinent to the Audion oeuvre is acceptable, new releases, old releases, articles and interviews. Even if it's been reviewed before and you have something special to say about something, then that's welcome too, like Eric Maden's flattering Endgame review featured here. As always, not everything planned for this issue came together in time, but lots of other features did and thus we have a much more varied issue. The Area article was a great pleasure to do, and the Chilean article was quite an education! In fact, I think I quite outdid myself, as there's enough to keep the avid music fan busy investigating for well over the allotted three months until Audion 74 appears! cover article: Area - International POPular group plus: A Fistful Of Spaghetti - book review, Annapurna Illusion, Tara Clerkin Trio - Genre defying music from Bristol, 20 questions with Brendan Pollard (Rogue Element), Prog & psych from South America, part 3: Chile, new Italian prog & underground part 5, Choice British label classics: Mushroom, Jazz In Britain, Everest Magma, Moonjune, Endgame - Avatar review, Norske Albumklassikere, and loads of album reviews: A.R. & Machines, Diminished Men, etc. Privately published magazine/fanzine 50 copy first edition of Audion 73, with 48 pages, printed by Doxdirect (November 2024).
