These last two attributes, typical of the preceding Art Nouveau style, make it altogether a design particularly appealing to those who appreciate antique, handsome, quality silverware. A pattern offered this time in a rather hard to find, barely seen, PIERCED TABLESPOON 8 ¼”, an antique estate piece in excellent condition, showing at most a couple of tiny specks barely visible inside the bowl at the back, there is no heel wear, no monogram, this looks hardly used if ever, stamped -1847 ROGERS BROS- 12 – follow by little Meriden imprint within a tiny circle.
