Vintage Silverplate Serving Spoon 1881 Rogers A1 in CHESHIRE Pattern circa 1925 The design is beautifully elegant. An engraved scrolled pattern with hammered handles. This was my great-grandparents serving spoon. It was used for Scooping- serving berries, sauces, potatoes or casseroles. Large scoop bowl could also be used for ice cream and may have as they owned a soda pallor. It has been safely packed up since the 1940's and unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and was found again. It is time for someone to cherish this again like it had been in the past. Dimensions: 8 7/8" Length 2 3/4" wide" Condition: Very nice as seen in the detailed photos. Lovely engraving design and hammered design on handle front and back. Patina which will remove with Polishing. Small utensil marks consistent with normal use.
